Matthew 5:48

48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Talk about it:

If we can’t be perfect, why shouldn’t we just give up trying to do good? (If we had to be perfect on our own, we might as well all give up. But if we trust in Jesus, he gives us his perfect life of obedience and gives us His Holy Spirit to help us obey too.)
