Isaiah 50:5-6

5 The Lord God has opened my ear,
    and I was not rebellious;
    I turned not backward.
6 I gave my back to those who strike,
    and my cheeks to those who pull out the beard;
I hid not my face
    from disgrace and spitting.

Talk about it:

How could the Holy Spirit use Jesus’ example to show us how we should treat those who come against us? (If Jesus loved us while we were his enemies, we should be willing to love those who are enemies. If Jesus forgave those who sinned against Him, we should be willing to forgive those who sin against us.)
