Psalm 119:103-105

103 How sweet are your words to my taste,
     sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Through your precepts I get understanding;
     therefore I hate every false way.

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
     and a light to my path.

This week’s theme is PEACE

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. Beginning in Genesis and continuing throughout Scripture, God tells us He is Light! He is the light of the world, He is light in the darkness to light the way for us to go, and His light shines in us as we know him and become known. He is light because we have always needed light to shine for us but we especially need his light today. I pray you will allow his light to shine in and through you today.

Reflection and Discussion:

• What dark places will you pray for today and ask God’s light to shine there?

• How are you allowing God’s light to shine through you this Christmas season?
