John 1:1-5

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

This week’s theme is PEACE

Jesus always has been, He always is and He always will be. This eternal nature of Jesus is hard to understand but it’s truth is fundamental. Jesus came to be the light of
the world and evil can never, ever overcome it. Martin Luther King said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can drive out darkness.”The light of Jesus always overcomes any darkness where evil tries to invade.
