13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

What can we learn from the tax collector’s posture during his prayer? (The tax collector was ashamed to look up to heaven. This is a sign that he realized he was unworthy before a holy God. It was a posture of humility.
