Luke 9:22

22 saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”

Talk about it:

Why didn’t Jesus want the disciples to tell everyone that he was the Messiah? (The people were trying to force Jesus to be their king. It wasn’t God’s plan to make him king of only one nation, and it wasn’t yet time for Jesus to die on the cross.)
