17 For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

Talk about it:

What were the prophets excited about and longing to see? (The prophets longed to see how God was going to deliver his people. They wanted to see Jesus even though they didn’t know His name yet.)
