Jeremiah 33:18 & Hebrews 7:23-25

Jeremiah 33:18

18 and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man in my presence to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to make sacrifices forever.”

Hebrews 7:23-25

23 The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, 24 but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. 25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Talk about it:

Why is the death of Jesus on the cross better than the lambs that died as sacrifices? (The lambs didn’t really take away sin; they only pointed to Jesus. Jesus’ sacrifice really takes away our sins because He took the punishment we deserved.)
