Psalm 119:103-105

103 How sweet are your words to my taste,
     sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Through your precepts I get understanding;
     therefore I hate every false way.

This week’s theme is HOPE

God’s Word is so good. The Psalmist describes it as being as sweet as honey. More importantly, it is described as a light to the path ahead. Knowing the truth that Word illuminates the way for us to walk with God gives us HOPE that we do not have to face the future alone. God is with us along the way and desires to give us direction for every step we take. The light of His Word helps us identify the dark paths and the false ways. May we walk in the HOPE that his truth provides.

Reflection and Discussion:

• As you think about God’s Word and the way it illuminates our path and guides us into God’s will commit to memorizing this passage or another passage that gives you a sense of HOPE. Share your memorized verse with someone this week.
